Privacy Policy
Effective November 6, 2026. Meow by My Side is provided by Buytitude LLC. This policy explains how information is handled in the Android app and when you contact us.
Your focus information
No app account is required. Tasks, focus sessions, goals, history, cat names, room choices, virtual coins and preferences are stored on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your tasks or focus history. Clearing the app's storage through Android settings or uninstalling the app removes its local data.
Backups
You can export and import a backup using Android's file picker. The file may contain your tasks, history and preferences. Its storage location is your choice; choosing a cloud storage provider sends the file to that provider under its own privacy policy. Delete exported copies separately if you no longer want them. Importing a backup replaces the app's local saved information.
Advertising and consent
The free version uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Google's advertising services collect and share IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), device and account identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic/performance information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Data transmitted by Google's Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. The app does not request GPS location, contacts, camera or microphone access.
Consent choices are presented where applicable. Open Settings → Privacy choices to revisit available choices. You can also manage your advertising ID in Android settings. Ad availability depends on connectivity, consent and the ad provider. An active Meow Pro subscription removes ads.
Subscriptions
Google Play processes purchases and payments. The app receives product and purchase status, including purchase tokens, to acknowledge purchases and provide Meow Pro access. Buytitude LLC does not receive your payment card details through the app. Google handles its purchase records according to its own policies.
Notifications and audio
If you grant notification permission, the app can notify you about timers. You can revoke this permission in Android settings. A media playback service supports ambient audio; the app does not record your microphone.
Support, retention and deletion
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include. We use this information to respond and resolve your request, retaining it as needed for support, legal obligations or disputes. Ask us to delete support correspondence by emailing [email protected]. No app-account deletion is needed because the app has no account system. We cannot directly delete information held independently by Google; use Google's privacy controls or contact Google for those requests.
Children
The app is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child sent personal information to our support team, contact us so we can address it.
Third parties and your choices
See the Google Privacy Policy, Google advertising information and Google ad controls. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information or object to certain processing. Contact us about information we hold.
