Contact [email protected] for help with Dicuvo. Include your Android version, app version, the practice language and a short description. Only attach a recording if you deliberately choose to share it.
Start a workout
Choose a practice language and tap Start workout, or choose a path in Explore. Follow the preparation, drill and real-life mission, then select how the practice felt. You can repeat an exercise as often as useful. The pacing highlight is a visual cue and does not listen to or grade speech.
Microphone and replay
Tap Record a take and allow microphone access. Tap Stop & save before playing the result. Saved takes can be played in My progress inside the app; export is optional. If access was denied, use Android Settings → Apps → Dicuvo → Permissions → Microphone. The app does not record in the background. Very short or interrupted takes may not save.
Example voices and listening games
Hear an example uses a locally installed Android text-to-speech voice that does not require a network connection. If a voice is missing, use Android’s Text-to-speech settings to install an offline voice in your language. Availability depends on the phone and voice provider. Reading, recording and guided practice work without example playback. Listening-game results describe the words selected, not your own pronunciation.
Compare recordings
Record the same prompt in the same language at least twice. My progress can play the earliest and latest compatible takes as A and B. Listen before revealing the dates. These comparisons are for personal reflection.
Keep your practice
Export a practice backup from My progress to keep history, saved scripts and favorites. Export recordings separately using each take’s Export button. Removing app data or uninstalling deletes local recordings and progress. There is no required account or automatic cloud synchronization.
Languages and appearance
Select the interface language and practice language separately at the top of the screen. Use the appearance button for light or dark mode. Settings and practice are saved on the phone.
Purchases and ads
Use Restore purchase with the Google Play account that bought Premium. Read purchase information. New ad units or an app awaiting AdMob review may not show ads immediately; free exercises remain usable. Ad privacy choices are available when Google requires them.
Speech or voice concerns
For a persistent communication difficulty or voice pain, consult an appropriate qualified professional. Dicuvo support cannot diagnose conditions or provide individual clinical therapy.
